Pretty Pots Polish: Swatches and Review

Hello world!

Swatch spam!!! Today I have some very special polishes that traveled all the way to me from Australia...I am very happy to present to you Pretty Pots Polish! Jalene was sweet enough to take a chance on me and add me to her swatching team for a couple of her newest additions, including some polishes from her new Wizard of Oz collection.

Why don't we start off with those first? Here is Dorothy, a fabulous glitter bomb that has a subtle blue jelly base and is packed with blue glitters in different sizes. I felt like I was channeling my inner diva with this polish on, but not in a "room filled with white roses and bowls of cherry flavored jelly beans" kind of way but more like a "1950/60s sequins from head to toe" diva. Such a gorgeous blue. Love love it. Really, every polish she sent me was a winner. Dorothy is part of the new Wizard of Oz collection available now on Etsy. Isn't it so pretty??? I used 3 thin coats with topcoat.

Next, we have another polish from the Wizard of Oz collection. This is The Good Witch, a lovely purple glitter bomb full of purple holographic glitters in a subtle purple base. Another stunner, this is so sparkly and full of holo deliciousness. I used 3 thin coats with topcoat.

Here we have Valley of the Azure Moon, a blue based polish full of white matte hexies in 3 different sizes and white rectangles, along with some silver holographic glitters. The blue reminds me of Sally Hansen's original formula of Pacific Blue. Although not a one-coater, I used 3 easy thin coats for extra glitter and depth. (with topcoat) Surprisingly, this one is one of my faves in the bunch. I'm not normally much of a blue person and I do not own any other polishes close in color so it's very unique to my collection. Such a pretty cobalt blue!

This is Sun & Stars, a newbie to the Pretty Pots family, is part of the newest Out Of This World trio which will be available November 1st. This is a gorgeous gold polish with a green shimmer/shift in certain angles. Perfect for fall! I used 3 thin coats with topcoat, but 2 coats would have totally been fine.

The last two polishes I have to showcase are members of the Pretty Pots core collection and are my 2 favorites. So much jelly noms! First, we have Awestruck, a beautiful dark purple jelly base full of hexies in orange, pink, blue, green, gold, and orange glitters of various sizes. Super easy to apply, no glitter fishing here! I used 3 thin coats for extra depth with topcoat.

Of course, I HAD to mattify these two pretties. So beautiful!

Last, but most certainly not least, we have Galactrix, a dark blue jelly based polish full of 10 different types of glitter! It carries blue, turquoise, silver, iridescent, metallic, and holographic glitter in various shapes. My fave glitter in the mix are the tiny metallic stars. Based on what I've read, they are uniquely imported and exclusive to Pretty Pots.

And of course, mattified for your viewing pleasure! Love it!

So what do you guys think? Me, personally I love them all. They are also my very first Australian polishes so they hold a very special place in my heart. A special thanks for Jalene for sending these to me, I am so grateful for the opportunity!
