Swatches and review: MTL Creations Fall collection

Hi guys!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Noah and I will be going to the pumpkin patch today and I am super excited for that. Cherise at MTL Creations was kind enough to send me some samples of her new fall collection which just released this past week. It is a lovely set of 4 polishes, 3 beautiful holos and a gold glitter topper. As you may notice, I suffered a break in my pinky nail so I ended up trimming them all down. I can't wait for them to grow out some but, in the meantime, I am trying to look on the bright side of things. I don't end up using as much polish when I paint my nails or swatch and it's a lot easier stamping images onto the smaller nails as opposed to my long ones. A change is nice, I guess. Along with swatches, I have included photos of some stamping that I added using some of the new Pueen and Cici&Sisi plates I received for my birthday. I hope you like!

First up is my personal favorite from the collection, Once in a Blue Moon. This blue jelly holographic polish is a stunner and I felt like it has the most holo punch out of the three holos that are available in the collection. 3 thin coats with topcoat.

Next we have Foresta Lumina, a seafoam green holographic polish. So pretty! 3 thin coats with topcoat.

Last out of the holo pretties is Apple Crush, a strawberry/coral-y/pink holo. How about that for a color description! 3 thin coats with topcoat.

Star Dust is a gold glitter topper that can pretty much go layered over any base color, or used on it's own in a few layers. You would really have to lay it on in order for it to be opaque but what I did here on my middle and ring fingers is apply the topper to a make-up sponge and just sponged the glitter on. This works great with glitter toppers since the sponge soaks up the clear base, leaving you with just the glitter to apply to your nail without the super thick look from applying layer after layer. On my index and pinky fingers I applied two thin coats over a black base.

Cherise was also sweet enough to include a mini bottle of her Orange Cinnamon cuticle oil. Not only does it smell lovely without overwhelming the nostrils but it goes on smoothly without leaving your cuticles feeling super greasy. She has a variety of scents all available in her shop now. Grab a cuticle oil while you are ordering your set of the Fall Collection now! :)
