I am finally getting around to finishing some editing and have a ton of swatches to show you guys in the upcoming week. Today, I will be showcasing three of the six colors available in the Christmas 2015 collection from F.U.N. Lacquer. While I love me some duo/multichromes, I ended up only purchasing the (H) versions of these colors, which are loaded with fine and micro gold holographic glitter.

L to R: Desires (H), Cheers to the Holidays (H), and Frost (H) |
Let's go check out some swatches~
The addition of the gold holo glitters really takes these colors to another level, almost transforming them completely from their plain counterparts. (the non (H) versions)
Up first we have the pretty Frost (H), described as "a multi-chrome colour shifting nail polish in blue base that shifts incredibly between blue, purple, red and green," with the addition of fine and micro gold holographic glitters.
2 coats, plus topcoat.

Next is Desires (H), described as "a multi-chrome colour shifting nail polish in green base that shifts amazingly between silver, blue and green" with the addition of fine and micro gold holographic glitters. I find it a little difficult to spot the shift to blue, it really does depend on the angle, but this definitely does flash a bright almost lime green color in different lights.

Macro of Desires (H) on a couple of different angles to show off the bright flash of green.
Last, but certainly not least, we have my favorite of the bunch, Cheers to the Holidays (H). This beauty is sooo sparkly, I feel almost regal when I wear it. The gold holo glitters really give the (H) version a gold shimmer to it, making it look totally different than the basic version, IMO. Described as "a multi-chrome colour shifting nail polish in cherry red base that shifts amazingly between red, blue, purple, and orange."
Shown here is 2 coats, plus topcoat.

I created the look below for my Christmas mani, using all three colors to dry brush over a black base. Any multichrome will pop over a dark or black base, so it came out better than I had anticipated. The stamping was done using white from Mundo de Uñas, and stamping plate BM-S219 from Bundle Monster.
I also entered this mani into a nail art contest held by Beautometry and was one of the four lucky winners chosen! Woo-hoo!
So, what do you guys think? All three colors, despite the amount of holo glitter, dried fairly smooth and not as textured as I initially thought they'd be. Application was also super smooth, but you don't want to mess around with the polish on your nails for too long because then it starts to thicken up as it dries. My only bummer is that the bottles are smaller than your average 15ml bottles, but the color pay off is great so it balances out. It's nice to not have to apply a million coats to get them fully opaque. I would not recommend any sponging with these shades, as the sponge will absorb all of the multichrome base and will only sponge on the gold holo glitter. Trust me, I tried it and failed horribly. For the nail art, I had this vision in my head of a gorgeous gradient between the three colors, and it did not work out for me. Just a little tip. ;)
I purchased this collection over a year ago direct from Live Love Polish, but it is still available for sale on the FUN Lacquer website, as well as the several US retailers they work with, like Beautometry.
Thank you all for stopping by!
xoxo,
Krystle
