I am so thrilled at having the opportunity to swatch and review a couple of polishes from Pretty and Polished!!! I only have one other polish from Pretty and Polished, May Flowers, which is a lovely sea foam/mint green thermal loaded with different colored glitters which will be posted at another date when I go through my personal collection, but from that one polish I already knew that I would have no issues with quality. Let's get to those swatches!
First up is a new soft rosy pink, Travelin' Down Dusty Rose, a new polish in the Pretty and Polished holographic family. This beauty is such a pretty shade of pink and has a subtle holographic effect, nice when you want a change for an "in your face" holo. This color also works well with different age groups, in my opinion. I feel like not only can younger women rock this color but it is pretty and delicate enough for older women to rock it too! My mother is not a huge fan of some of the crazy colors I have in my nail polish collection but is a huge fan of this color and is actually using this for her Valentine's Day mani. :) (Love you, momma!) Shown here in 2 thin coats with topcoat. I added a rose stamp on my accent nail using my Pueen plates and stamping polish by Mundo de Uñas.

Lastly, here is They Call It Witchcraft, part of the Dark Arts Collection. This lovely polish is not only a thermal polish but also glows in the dark! It changes from a light teal to a darker teal/almost dark green from warm to cold temperatures. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and added a topcoat. This dries to a slightly textured finish so I would recommend a topcoat unless you like the textured feel then you can leave it as is. Either way, this polish is definitely a winner.
Warm state
My very first attempt at photographing a glow in the dark polish! :)

I added some pretty stamping to my swatch of They Call It Witchcraft using my new Born Pretty plates, plate # BP L-008, and stamping polish from Mundo de Uñas. I love how this mani came out! The balance of the teal and the lime green is just perfect to me. I used my creative shop stamper and it is still something I am getting used to. The rolling technique is a bit trickier than I thought and since I am so heavy-handed, I have found it a bit challenging to roll lightly over the image instead of stamping straight down. Oh well, practice makes perfect!
I hope you guys love these as much as I do! Pretty and Polished is based out of Indiana and are now in a 5-free base! Many thanks to Chels for giving me the opportunity to swatch and review these! There are a couple others in the Dark Arts collection that I need to get my hands on, especially Necromancing the Stone. I am posting all of the links to Pretty and Polished, including their store site and social media sites so that you can add these to your collection and stay up to date on releases and upcoming collections!
